Keywords:polarized light emission, near-infrared light emission, organic electroluminescence

Polarized near-infrared light emitting organic devices were fabricated using with oriented thin films of a narrow band-gap polymer, PTB7 prepared by friction transfer method. A polymer emitting visible light, F8BT was coated on the friction-transferred PTB7 oriented film. The devices emitted efficiently near-infrared light, as energy transfer occurred from F8BT to PTB7.
