We proposed a liquid crystal (LC) cell composed of four twisted nematic domains with different twist angle and orientation direction, aiming at the Stokes polarimetry. We discussed the in-plane interaction among the four LC orientation domains by comparing the measured Stokes parameter with the simulated one. As a result, it was found that the in-plane interaction in the LC orientation tends to strengthen as the LC layer thickness increases.
