In this work, we have fabricated a high-gain and low-voltage-operating organic differential amplifier with p-type organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs). A 50 nm-thick parylene gate insulator enables the operating voltage of the amplifier to be reduced within 4 V. Moreover, implementing bootstrapped gain-enhancement technique to load circuits of the differential amplifier, the fabricated amplifier exhibits differential gain of 18 dB even consisting of only p-type OTFTs. The low-voltage-operating organic differential amplifier with high-gain can be used in flexible biomedical sensors for detecting biosignals.
