Single-molecule measurements using Mechanically Controllable Break Junction (MCBJ) method is used for discrimination of bases sequences of DNA and RNA and peptides. MCBJ measurement is expected as a new detection method for various biomolecules. In this study, we performed experiments and analysis with the aim of distinguishing serotonin and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are difficult to distinguish in conventional measurement methods. The single-molecule conductance of serotonin and dopamine are too close to distinguish from one-dimensional conductance histogram. However, as a result of discrimination using machine learning, we succeeded in discrimination with accuracy of 0.7 or more.
