[18a-431B-6] Surface Structural Analysis of InP(111)A-1x1

Structural analysis of InP(111)A-1x1 surface has been carried out by RHEED rocking curves and first-principles calculations. It has been deduced by rocking curve analysis that the first In and P atomic layers approach into almost the same layer. By the first-principles calculations, this structure is found to be stable in energy when some defects of In or P atoms exist in the surface.
