Keywords:Single-Moleucle Quantum Sequencing, Personalized Medicine, Machine Learning

The base sequence of DNA and RNA and the amino acid sequencing of peptides has been demonstrated by using a single-molecule quantum sequencing method based on the electrical conductance of single molecules. Furthermore, we have demonstrated the discrimination between chemically modified base molecules and chemically modified amino acids that become disease markers. Highly accurate sequencing has been realized by integrating single-molecular quantum sequencing and machine learning, which contributes to the development of sequencing for its application in medicine. In this presentation, we will introduce quantitative analysis of microRNAs as cancer markers and single-molecule analysis to elucidate the mechanism of anticancer drugs as examples of recent applied studies.
