[18p-145-3] Electrical Transport Properties and Chemical Stability of Halide Perovskite: Effect of Ionic Conductivity

Shu Yamaguchi1, Wang Kai1 (1.U. Tokyo)

Keywords:Hybrid Perovskite

The electrical transport properties and their chemical stability of bromide and iodide hybrid perovskites are still mysterious and need quantitative understandings. In this presentation, the partial electronic conductivity of electrons and holes and the total conductivity have been estimated by solid-state electrochemical techniques, showing that both systems primarily work as an electrolyte owing to dominant ionic conductivity over electronic ones. It is well known that the electrochemical window of each system determines the stability of electrolytes. Therefore, the electrolysis that proceeds at relatively low applied voltages is considered as the origin of the instability for these halide perovskites.
