▼ [18p-211B-12] Plasmonic nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide sensitized hierarchical TiO2 nanorods for solar water splitting
キーワード:localized surface plasmon resonance, photoelectrochemical water splitting
In order to improve the photoresponse of TiO2 in the visible region, we introduced gold triangular nanoprisms (TNPs) with distinctive localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) sheets with excellent electrical conductivity to the highly branched TiO2 nanorod arrays. We conducted systematic photoactivity measurements including linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), incident photon-to-electron conversion efficiency (IPCE), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The pronouced results demonstrated that our work has the advantages of combining the LSPR effect of Au TNPs with highly conductive rGO to result in the enhanced photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting performance than the pristine TiO2.
