[18p-221C-7] Detection of influenza virus using an external force-assisted fluorescent biosensor

Masato Yasuura1, Makoto Fujimaki1 (1.AIST)

Keywords:external force-assisted biosensor, magnetic particles, immunoassay

The authors developed an external force-assisted bioassay that creates "moving bright spots" with magnetic particles and optical markers and performs detection. In this study, we demonstrated an external force-assisted fluorescent biosensor. Since the external force-assisted fluorescent biosensor uses a fluorescent bead as an optical marker, it is possible to use large magnetic particles having strong driving force. Influenza A virus was detected by targeting nucleoprotein, and 1 fg/mL virus was detected.
