In recent years, it was found that a hydrogen boride nanosheets (HB sheets), which is a new two-dimensional material, can be synthesized under mild conditions of room temperature and atmospheric pressure. HB sheets are theoretically expected to have excellent hydrogen storage performance and electronic material performance. In this study, the optical function and hydrogen release performance of this HB sheets were clarified.
