We have reported conversion efficiency in an optical wireless power transmission using III-V compound semiconductor solar cell. It was found system that high conversion efficiency could obtained by using a solar cell with a high open circuit voltage Voc and a large band gap. In this study, we experimented a combination of GaInP / GaAs two-junction solar cell with large Voc and two different wavelength lasers. As a result, a conversion efficiency of 33.4% was obtained which was almost the same level as that of the single-junction system with one wavelength laser.
