[18p-233-3] High gradient accelerator using high power laser

High gradient accelerator needs higher frequency or higher quality factor to obtain higher field density.
The electromagnetic wave frequency is almost linear to the energy density. Thus very high field will be obtained using THz instead of GHz. As the THz accelerator, the laser plasma wakefield accelerator or the dielectric accelerator are considered.
Those accelerating method requires the ultra fast high power laser with THz envelope.
Also the repetition rate over 50 Hz is required to install in the existing accelerator.
