The boundary condition at a solid surface is important in micro gaseous flows where Knudsen number is large. The boundary condition is determined by gas-surface interactions of gas molecules, and an accommodation coefficient can be used to describe their mean characteristics. Thus, we have measured accommodation coefficients. The applicability of molecular beam scattering experiments for understanding characteristics of accommodation coefficients in detail will be discussed.
