[18p-432-9] Development of Functional Nano Devices on the Basis of Solid State Ionics

Keywords:solid state ionics, physical property tuning, decision-maker

Functional nano devices have been developed to generate novel functions on the basis of solid state ionics. Various physical properties (e.g., bandgap, photoluminascence, superconductivity, magnetism) can be tuned and enhanced by ion transport and electrochemical phenomena near the solid/solid interface. Furthermore, decision-making and adaptive behavior seen in natural intelligence has been successfully mimicked using solid state ionics principle.
