[18p-PA1-12] Investigation of measurement conditions for unstable plaque detection by ultrasonic velocity change method

We have examined a method to identify a vascular unstable plaque by using ultrasonic velocity-change method. In the previous report, we acquired one-dimensional echo signals continuously for the carotid artery phantom after cooling it with an ice pack, and obtained UVC waveforms using the echo-signal data free of the influence of pulsation. In this report, the measurement conditions to identify a vascular unstable plaque from the UVC waveforms are discussed in detail.
