[18p-PA2-12] Effect of surfactant concentration on nickel films electroplated in foam

Nickel films were prepared in foam of Watt bath added with a surfactant. It was found that the number of defects in the films increases with increasing concentration of surfactant. When the surfactant concentration was increased, the viscosity of the foam became higher and the foam diameter became smaller. From this result, the number of defects in the films can be controlled by the viscosity or size of the foam.
