Keywords:optical fiber sensor, Fabry-Perot laser, high resolution temperature sensor

We are conducting research on a high resolution temperature sensor based on the technology to precisely measure the optical length of an optical fiber. In this study, the temperature resolution of the system with an inexpensive Fabry-Perot laser was examined. As a result, it was found that the system had the same degree of temperature resolution as the system with a distributed feedback laser.
