[18p-PB3-8] Synthesis and analysis of Cellulose Nanofiber / Nano-carbon composites
Keywords:Cellulose Nanofibers, Carbon Nanotubes
Cellulose Nanofiber (CNF) is made from pulp, a kind of wood-derived fiber. It is known that properties such as conductivity effect can be provided by applying nano-carbon such as Carbon Nanotubes(CNT) and graphene to CNF surface. It is required to further improve the performance of CNF.
In this paper, conductivity was added by mixing with each kind of nano-carbon, CNT and graphene. These are one of the same nanomaterials as CNF. We observed the surface structure of CNF and the nanocomposite by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). For the purpose of judging by comparison from the state of structure and fiber whether the result of the experiment is actually composite or not, each structure of CNFs and nano-carbon were also observed by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).The composite had conductivity. For CNFs, fine fibers of several nanometer size were seen.
