△ [19a-311-10] Carrier accumulation in TMDC thin films with bilayer heterostructure by an external electric field

In this presentation, I will present carrier accumulation in bilayer hetero TMDC in a FET structure under the external electric field using the density functional theory. Our calculation shows that accumulated carrier distribution are sensitive to the stacking order of TMDC and the carrier species. Therefore we expect that the carrier distribution in the vdW heterostructure is tunable by designing the stacking sequence of TMDCs.
