[19a-331-7] [Young Scientist Presentation Award Speech] Measurement of Magnetoencephalography and Magnetocardiography using Room Temperature Operating Tunnel Magneto-Resistance Sensor
Keywords:Magnetic Sensor, Bio Magnetic Field, Magnetic Tunnel Junction
Measurement of biomagnetic field of human tissue is one of the very important methods in medical diagnosis and basic research from the viewpoint of high space / time resolution and non-invasiveness. In this study, we developed tunnel magneto-resistance (TMR) sensors to measure bio-magnetic fields from heart and brain of human. In the magnetocardiography that measures the magnetic field of the heart, the R peak was measured in real time, and the QRS complex was also measured by averaging for about 1 minute. In the magnetoencephalography which is a method of measuring the magnetic field from the brain, we successfully measured the signal of alpha wave by 10,000 times averaging.
