密度汎関数法(DFT)により、黒鱗半導体に対する電極材料の評価を行った。電極材料に対する評価基準として、半導体と電極金属間の接合の強さと抵抗を評価した。電極材料の種類や黒鱗半導体の界面での終端の種類が、接合強度や抵抗に与える影響を調査した。講演では、使用した計算条件や対象系の構造について説明を行い、電気陰性度や結合長の変化から結合強度との関連性について説明を行う。
