△ [19a-PA2-1] Unidirectional Growth and Bowl-like Hexagonal Microcrystals from Chiral Cyclophane with Circularly Polarized Luminescence

We prepared bowl-like hexagonal micro crystals by self-assembly of X-shaped cyclophane molecule. The crystals have chiral space group (P6₅) and grow unidirectionally to the optic axis of the crystal. In addition, the crystals show circularly polarized luminescence.
