3元タリウム化合物の光照射による変形現象に着目した研究である。特に、パルス光照射時の変形の時間応答特性に注目して、その特性を調べた。その結果、パルス幅の制御により変形量が増大することを明らかにした。また、時間応答特性は、本物質の熱拡散係数と密接な関係があることがわかった。
