1144-type iron-based superconductor CaKFe4As4 possesses a crystal structure where Ca and K do not occupy an equivalent site and the Ca and K layers are inserted altenately along the c-axis direction. The superconducting transition temperature (Tc ~ 35 K), the upper critical field (Hc2 ~ 100 T), and the anisotropy parameter (γ ~ 1-2) are comparable with those for AE1-xAxFe2As2 (122 type), suggesting the high application potential of 1144 materials. In this study, we will report the critical current properties of CaKFe4As4 single crystals.
