Keywords:superconductor, Asymmetric Ic

Superconducting diodes requires high rectification property and high current capacity. The former needs high asymmetricity of Ic. In this study, Ic asymmetricity was realized by controlling both the surface and the internal structures of SmBa2Cu3Oy thin films. The highest Ic asymmetricity was achieved with low surface roughness and low density of BaHfO3 nanorods.
