We proposed a paper based potentiometric pH sensor using a pencil-drawn carbon electrode. The sensitivity of the proposed sensor is disturbed by the sensitivity to other cations, but the selection factor indicating the degree is unknown. In this research, the selection coefficient of the proposed sensor was calculated from the experiments. Depending on the calculated selection coefficient, it is possible to estimate whether the proposed sensor responds to an actual sample certainly, so the applicability of the sensor has increased.
