[19p-225B-15] Ultra-high-speed terahertz communications using low-loss and small-dispersion photonic-crystal waveguides

We have demonstrated an ultralow loss (<0.1 dB/cm) photonic-crystal waveguide in the 0.3-THz band. To realize high data rate terahertz communications using a photonic-crystal waveguide, we developed the photonic crystal waveguide with low-propagation loss and small dispersion. We successfully demonstrated the error-free terahertz communication over 30 Gbit/s.
