△ [19p-431B-4] Bragg grating inscription in fluoride glass fiber by femtosecond laser pulses for 2.8 µm fiber laser and monitoring of lasing evolution
Keywords:femtosecond laser inscribed fiber Bragg grating, mid-infrared laser, fiber laser
We report fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) femtosecond laser inscribed in an Er-doped fluoride glass fiber used for lasing at a mid-infrared wavelength of 2.8 µm. The lasing evolution during inscription is discussed in terms of the FBG reflectivity, wavelength transition to the Bragg wavelength, and output power of the mid-infrared wavelength.
