[19p-PA1-1] Evaluation of Friction and Abrasion by Power Spectral Density and Slope Histogram

Surface configurations and dynamical friction coefficients of various metals were measured and evaluated by surface histogram and power spectral density (PSD). Surface histogram was fitted in a standard deviation. The standard deviations could be used as an index of surface roughness. PSD’s were fitted in a function of f ^-n type. Surface roughness measurements by AFM as another equipment would be reported.
