We proposed an ultra-fast and small plasmonic phased array (PPA) using an electrooptics organic material. A PPA is an optical beam steering device that can scan the angle of the output light by the applied voltage. If the optical phase on the output edge of the phase modulators can be adjusted within the range of 2π radian by the applied voltage, it becomes possible to control the shape of the wavefront in the electromagnetic field. As a result, the lens function to converge the light to a position away from the output edge can be added. In this report, we present the results of the numerical analysis of the lens function and the steering scanning calculated by two dimension FDTD method.
