Hydrogen has drawn attention as a next-generation clean energy source, and researches utilizing photocatalytic decomposition of water and organic waste liquids are actively conducted. We focused on n-type iron oxide (III) (a-Fe2O3) and p-type copper oxide (I) (Cu2O) as semicondouctor photocatalyst which can absorb visible light, and conduct deposition of copper oxide nanoparticles (CNP) on iron oxide nanotubes by pulse electrodeposition. Controlling pulses made it possible controlling the density and particle diameter of CNP.
