We have successfully generated an arbitrary optical waveform at 125THz repitition rate. Controlling a high repitition rate optical waveform like a continuous wave, not a conventional ultrashort pulse, which has relatively slow repitition rate, makes new applications come into light. In this lecture, we would like to propose the arbitrary continuous optical waveform generation technique as a new method to approach ultrafast physical phenomena.
