△ [20a-211A-2] Evaluation of carrier envelope offset frequency in a bidirectional dual-comb fiber laser

As a result of the experiment, two outputs from the laser cavity directly show broad spectra with a full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) bandwidth of ≈ 50 nm. Moreover, we could successfully generate ultra-broadband OFC by nonlinear spectral broadening and detect the high signal-to-noise-ratio (S/N) fceo beat signals in both directions.To the best of our knowledge, this is the first demonstration of fceo detection with self-referencing scheme for a dual-comb fiber laser. In addition, we found that these bi-directional fceo beat signals are mutually coherent even in the non-servo system, it is expected a realization of simple dual comb spectroscopy.
