To realize the evaluation of electrochemical impedance in a localized region, a magnetic field from a current flowing in the sample induced by the application of AC voltage of various frequencies was measured using a HTS-SQUID based measurement system. In this study, two catalysis layers were fabricated in one dye-sensitized solar cell and magnetic field response was measured above each catalysis layer. The measured magnetic field responses were correlated with the electrochemical impedance of each catalysis layer and the evaluation of localized electrochemical impedance which is difficult to detect using a conventional method was proposed.
