Keywords:organic semiconductor, single crystal, radiation detector

We have studied new radiation detector with organic single crystal. Gold electrodes were made by vapor deposition on Rubrene single crystals and experiments with white X-rays were carried out. It has been shown that current was generated with X-ray irradiation and it increased when a layer of electron donor, F4TCNQ, was set between the electrodes and the Rubrene crystal. However, at present, the configuration is slightly different between the devices, we will compare the currents after setting the device structure to be the same. Also, the current did not saturate even at the bias voltage of 100 V, which implies charge collection is imperfect with this material and configuration. Further studies will be carried out with changing the device material.
