「分子の指紋領域」である中赤外波長領域の光源の開発を近接場熱輻射に関連する熱輻射制御に着目して行っている。加熱により望波長の赤外光を出力することが期待できるブルズアイ構造プラズモニックデバイスを製作し評価した結果、プラズモニック構造による熱輻射の狭帯域化に観測したため報告する。
