[20p-231B-1] Atomic Level Analysis of Polyethyleneglycol by the Scanning Atom Probe

Osamu Nishikawa1, Masahiro Taniguchi2 (1.Kanazawa Inst Tech, 2.Kanazawa Ins. Tech.)

Keywords:polyethyleneglycol, mass analysis, scanning atom probe

The structure of polyethylenegllycol (PEG) is simple. Thus the the mass spectrum obtained by the scanning atom probe (STM) is expected to be simple. Unexpectedly the mass spectrum does not correspond to the PEG structure. The mass difference between the obtained mass peaks is 1 which does not extected from PEG structure.
