Chemical rockets have been always used to send goods to space. However, the chemical rocket system is unsuitable for mass transportation to space because of its high cost and low payload ratio. Instead of this conventional system, laser powered orbital launch system is proposed. This presentation will introduce the several launch systems using pulse or continuous working lasers, and the requests for lasers.
