We are investigating sensitized thermal cells (STC) which generate power from thermal energy by making use of a system of dye sensitized solar cells. The STCs works by using chemical energy without cooling section, and use thermally excited carriers instead of photo-excited carriers. In this presentation, wet electrochemical cells using Ag2S were fabricated and battery characteristics by thermally excited carriers was examined.
