[20p-431B-4] Study of depth information detection from a single coded photograph
Keywords:Coded imaging, Depth ditection
Using a single image taken with a coded aperture and separated two point spread functions (PSFs), we generate pseudo stereo images and inspect the method of obtaining depth information. The imaging optical system has defocus so that the PSF through the encoding aperture spreads on the image sensor. Two parallax mages overlap on the sensor by the left and right halves of the PSF. We restore them by deconvolution and calculate the depth information.
