[20p-436-5] Organic nanoparticle-polymer composite gratings with ultrahigh refractive index modulation amplitudes for volume holographic optical elements

We report on recording of a plane-wave volume holographic grating in a photopolymerizable nanoparticle-polymer composite film dispersed with hyperbranched polymer organic nanoparticles having the ultrahigh refractive index of 1.82 at 532 nm. It is shown that the recorded grating possesses the high recording sensitivity and the refractive index modulation amplitude as large as 0.045.
