[20p-PA2-20] Effect of chiral dopant on themosensitive light-controlling materials with reentrant liquid crystals

Light-controlling device for windows have been much attention that control of sunlight transmission and protect of privacy in architecture, automobile and airplane. Polymer dispersed liquid-crystalline materials are mainly used for light-controlling materials. Recently, we developed thermosensitive light-controlling materials with alchoxycyanobiphenyl liquid crystals by easier processing methods.
In this study, we investigated effect of chiral dopant on thermosensitive light-controlling materials with alchoxycyanobiphenyl liquid crystals. The fabricated sample cell showed optical scattering property above ca. 50 degree.
