In recent years, development of artificial biomaterials has been promoted, and collagen has attracted much attention as a highly biocompatible material. Recently, we have developed a novel method for fabricating oriented collagen films using a substrate with a periodic structure on the surface. In this study, we investigated that effect of the film thickness on the alignment state of the fabricated collagen films.
