[20p-PB5-49] Preparation of CaF₂:Sm transparent ceramics and RPL properties

In this study, we have prepared Sm-doped CaF₂ transparent ceramics and characterized the radio-photoluminescence properties. The sample preparation was performed by the spark plasma sintering technique, and we have successfully prepared ceramic samples in a transparent form. The as-prepared samples showed only Sm³⁺ active while X-ray irradiation activated Sm²⁺ in photoluminescence, which was observed as a PL peak around 730 nm.
