[20p-PB5-59] Performance Evaluation of Transparent Mixed Powder Neutron Scintillator

Instead of the LiF-ZnS:Ag neutron scintillator, we are developing new transparent mixed powder neutron scintillators. The mixed powder scintillator of LiF and CaF₂:Eu is tranparent by filling interspace with transparent resin. This scntillator shows a clear neutron peak in the signal pulse height spectrum. In this paper, we will discuss the fundamental performance of this transparent mixed powder scintillator.
