Keywords:Poincare beam, on-chip

The beam whose spatial polarization characteristic covers the total polarization state on the Poincaré sphere is called Poincaré beam. Study on quantum communication, optical trap, and condensed matter physics exploration using the beam are processing. Although the generation of Poincaré beams has been demonstrated in bulk optics, on-chip generation is necessary for wider applications. We have proposed an on-chip Poincaré beam generator and demonstrated the principle by numerical calculations.
