[21a-143-9] Second harmonic generation in a GaAs/AlAs multiple quantum well

In this presentation, we report the second harmonic generation observed in a GaAs/AlAs multiple quantum well under the exciton excitation condition. When the ultrashort pulse excites the excitons in the quantum well, the second harmonic light with the photon energy equal to twice of the laser photon energy was observed. We considered that the excitons in the quantum well contributes to the generation of the light.
