キラリティーを持つプラズモニック金属ナノ構造体はキラル分子の高感度検出などへの応用が期待される。本研究では、プラズモン誘起電荷分離(PICS)に基づく部位選択的な酸化反応を利用し、円偏光のキラリティーをプラズモニックナノ構造へ転写することを試みた。Auナノ直方体上の電場局在部位に選択的にPbO₂を酸化析出させることでキラルナノ構造体を簡便かつ大面積に作製でき、円偏光の左右による鏡像異性体の作り分けにも成功した。
