Keywords:diamond, NVcenter, femtosecond laser

NV centers which formed by nitrogen and vacancies in diamond can be observed and operated optically at room temperature. We expect to apply them as ultra-sensitive magnetic field sensor or qubit for a quantum computer. In recent years, formation of NV center by annealing of vacancy defect induced by focused irradiation of femtosecond laser[1] and by ablation of diamond surface[2] have been reported. We aimed to clarify details of the relationship between the time waveform of the pulse laser and the formation of the NV center, which have not been clarified so far. As a first step, we will report the relationship with the pulse width this time.
