Wetting transparency of graphene, the wettability of the graphene on a substrate is the same as the bare substrate, was first reported in 2012. But other groups then have conducted followup examinations and pointed out that airborne contaminants adsorb to the graphene surface and it would prevent accurate evaluation of the graphene wettability. Now, we have originally developed a combined system for CVD-contact angle measurement and evaluated intrinsic wettability of the synthesized graphene.
